Over the past two years, Sharjah Institute of Technology has transformed itself from a non-profit government institution to semi-government full blown profit oriented organization targeting its services to all, local and international students as well as business and international governments. SIT has partnered with the Nigerian Government to utilize SIT’s extensive experience in the vocational education by catering to the training needs of 214 young Nigerians. The project consists of a 6 months training in the areas of Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering and Electrical Engineering with BTEC certification (Extended Certificate) in the same.
